55 Broadway, known as London’s first skyscraper was built in 1929 in an Art Deco, early modernist style as the headquarters of the Underground Electric Railways of London.

The 250,000 sqft Grade I Listed building, designed by famed architect, Charles Holden – known for his many Tube stations - remained the headquarters for Transport for London in the following years, until with was sold by TfL in 2019 to our clients, Integrity International Group.

Working with EPR Achitects, Trilogy have successfully secured planning consent and listed building consent to sensitively repurpose the three office buildings to an appropriate viable use to secure its long-term preservation as a high quality, sustainable hotel worth of this exemplary building.

Our aim is to celebrate the building’s provenance by restoring its unique features and opening this iconic landmark for the first time to the public.

The hotel will include flexible retail and amenity spaces on the ground floor, multipurpose event spaces and public access to roof terraces and bars
